SCOR catastrophe bond transfers earthquake and windstorm risks

Atlas Capital UK 2019 issued £250m of bonds to transfer the reinsurer's natural catastrophe risks in USA, Canada, and Europe.

GC Securities was structuring agent and joint book runner with Aon. The offer was oversubscribed, which prompted the issue amount to increase it.

This is a further issue in its ILS issuance programme, and further diversifies its means of protecting its capital.
