Non-conforming Co-op RMBS is IFR EMEA structured finance Deal of the Year 2015

Co-op's Warwick One £1.5bn issue was the largest non-confirming deal wholly in £ (eclipsed soon after by its £1.65bn issue of similar loans).

The deal enabled the bank to increase its Tier 1 capital and plug its £1.5bn capital hole it was found to have in 2013 that led shortly after to it takeover by its bondholders in a debt-for-equity-swap. More details here
